    We have learned about short functional text before, right? Well for this occasion I want to invite you to make one of the short functional texts, namely graduation cards. before that I want to review what greeting cards are.

What are Greeting cards?

Greeting cards are short text messages consisting of prayers and wishes. Greeting cards are usually sent to someone who is celebrating an event or is experiencing an event.

Purpose of Greeting Card

Greeting cards have the purpose of congratulating, praying, wishing, and also showing sympathy. The purpose of this greeting card depends on the situation of the recipient of the card. For example, when sending a greeting card to a friend who is celebrating Christmas, the purpose is to congratulate them.

Greeting Card Structure

In making greeting cards, there are things that must be considered, one of which is the text structure/generic structure. The greetings card structure consists of receiver, body, and sender.

For this time I want to give one example of a greeting card, namely a graduation greeting card.

Graduation greeting cards are cards that have the purpose of conveying congratulations to recipients who have just graduated from school, or other educational institutions.
